how do you create back up disk (recovery disk) for an acer laptop?
i need to make some back up disk since the computer didnt come with any! I just need to know how to do this incase something happens to where I may need them
Most computers no longer come with the recovery disk, this is becasue computer now have a recovery partiton on the computer which actually do allow you to recovery without the use of the disc. But you still are able to create one set of recovery disc, Once you create them, you will not be able to create them again.
Steps should be as follows, click start, all programs, system recovery.

Confused About This Recovery Disk ? !?
Ok so , i downloaded acer aspire 5315 series recovery disk of my computer , on to a disk for my laptop.
Basically it has started up as Linux?
And i find this very confusing to work . I’m trying to get internet connection , however i have no idea how because everything is so confusing . Can Someone Help ?

Also on startup it says: KNOPPIX 5.1
It would seem like you have downloaded the wrong recovery disk, unless of course the system came with Linux installed originally.
Go back to the site and locate and download the correct recovery disk.
